I was skipping Hal's bit to get to Roy, but actually, let's talk about this. This was done to him. Canonically. Let's talk about how fucked up and invasive this is.
I love Wally cause he ain't even about revenge all that much he just has to pay it back in blood. He barely considers it revenge, he considers himself your cosmic karma. He takes “what goes around comes around” into his own hands and decides this is exactly what you deserve. If you take away his family, he will get them back, even if it's got to be from death herself, but that pain will be inflicted on you tenfold, and he will beat the hell out of you or worse, JUST for that karma. He got them back so now he has to get YOU back.
